Notice Your Thoughts Without Judgment | Mindfulness for OCD, Anxiety & Trauma - Guided Video
Do you ever find yourself getting caught up in your thoughts, judging them, or trying to make them go away? In this highly directed guided mindfulness exercise, you'll learn how to notice your thoughts, acknowledge them without judgment, and gently let them pass rather than becoming stuck in them. The continuous guidance is helpful for those who need continuous reminders during the exercise to allow thoughts to pass or those who experience racing thoughts. This practice is based on evidence-informed approaches used in therapy, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based techniques. It can be especially helpful for people living with OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, or anyone who struggles with overthinking and intrusive thoughts. I created this video as a resource for clients to use between therapy sessions, but I hope it can support anyone looking to build a healthier relationship with their thoughts.
I hope you enjoy my favourite forest spot as much as me and my dogs do :)
